Psychological Testing and Evaluation

A psychological evaluation, much like a detective seeking clues to solve a mystery, involves the use of norm-referenced testing instruments. Administered by a psychologist or a well-trained professional under supervision, these tests help identify and address specific concerns or questions tailored to you or your loved one's needs.

Our Psychological Testing and Evaluation consist of a 3-step process:

Step One:
Clinical Interview Scheduling

At the outset, an appointment is scheduled for both the individual and their parent(s)/caregivers. This crucial step involves a comprehensive clinical interview, conducted either in-person or via telehealth, setting the foundation for a tailored psychological evaluation.

Step Two:
Direct Testing at Our Facility

Following the clinical interview, a visit is arranged for direct testing at our facility. This phase, typically lasting two to four hours, involves test administration. The duration may vary based on factors like age, developmental level, and the number of tests required, ensuring a thorough assessment.

Step Three:
Feedback Appointment and Comprehensive Review

Following the clinical interview, a visit is arranged for direct testing at our facility. This phase, typically lasting two to four hours, involves test administration. The duration may vary based on factors like age, developmental level, and the number of tests required, ensuring a thorough assessment.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Evaluation:

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition identified by persistent patterns of inattention and/or hyperactivity. Our comprehensive evaluation, aligned with National Institute of Mental Health standards, explores these symptoms to provide valuable insights into childhood development.
